Awesome video, and car show!!! Hey my rat rod is in there! 1930 model a and all ford!!! 460 big block!!!! I also like old brick buildings, buildings built in a city of a few thousand, they could not even raise enough taxes for the buildings, but they spared no expense and built amazing buildings, in record times! 5 years ago, I built an s10 pick and airbrush it twice, and I thought I was the only crazy person out there. I didn't have real rivets, but I airbrushed all it, even the diamond plate. I won 2nd and 3rd place for years. I'm about to paint my silverado. It's good to see someone else have mad ideas like I got.

Brass welding is not the proper term. Welding implies that the parts are melted together, with or without filler metal. Only the filler metal is melted in brazing.

Sorry, but this is not really 'welding with brass'. It's brazing with a flux-coated brazing rod which may, or may not, contain a high proportion of brass. It's not welding because the parent metals are not being fused - indeed you are being careful not to melt them.

Learned to braze many years ago. Before MIG welders, we used brazing to repair cracked or chafed hydraulic tubes on construction equipment. My dad had an old vice that had been repaired (brazed) by an old school guy. The repair looked like a stack of dimes. Truly beautiful work.
